Our Founders

AI can be a force for good, but current energy and water consumption levels of AI data centres are an additional burden on the environment. Our mission is to change this, with our proprietary and patent-pending advanced liquid cooling technology.
In our vision, sustainability translates into positive ROI from day one, so there is no choice to be made between profit and planet.
We have deep roots in the scientific community of the United Kingdom, which enables us to make breakthroughs happen.

Meet the founders
Marc Ottolini, CEO
After a successful corporate career, Marc has been working in the cleantech space since 2001. Without exception, ventures he creates and leads are strongly mission driven, using emerging technologies to fight climate change, environmental degradation and environmental health problems. Marc is passionate about achieving scale at speed, to maximise impact. The environmental impact of the exploding growth of crypto and AI was well on his radar when he met Bernard at Zinc VC. He quickly realised that Bernard’s ideas have the potential to make a real dent in the carbon and water footprint of data centres around the world, also making data centres viable in the global South.
Bernard Cooper, CTO
Bernard has always been fascinated by the problem of cooling cutting edge technology. His academic research focused on cryogenic cooling systems for quantum technologies operating near absolute zero (-272 °C). His novel silicon based cooler developed during his PhD culminated in a patent filing. Recognising the limitations of the current market offering, he founded Infiniflux to remove thermal bottlenecks and turbocharge progress. Bernard’s background in quantum cooling has allowed him to develop breakthrough technologies that sustainably plug a significant gap in the present market, while also preparing for future developments in 3D and quantum chip design.
